New Product: 12V / 48V Connectors and Cable Assemblies for Open Computing

Harrisburg, PA - September 21, 2017 - TE Connectivity (TE), a global leader in connectivity and sensors, today announced the launch of its new Busbar Power Connectors and Cable Assemblies for Open Computing Project (OCP) applications. These connectors and cable assemblies can be used as power or backup battery connections to reduce the power consumption of power distribution applications. The solution is designed to meet the requirements of Open Compute Project (OCP) applications but is typically used in applications that require 150A or 500A connectivity.

These connectors and cable assemblies are low-cost, reliable solutions that offer lower contact resistance and better heat dissipation than other power products currently available in the market, ultimately helping to reduce total data center power consumption cost.

To reduce part number certification and inventory, the same busbar connector can be used for 48V or 12V applications as well as power or call back. Provide custom cable assemblies.
