New Product: 0.5mm Fine-pitch Hermaphroditic (FPH) Board-to-Board Connector

HARRISBURG,  PA - June 20, 2017 - TE Connectivity (TE), a leader in all-in-one  connectivity and sensors, today announced the new hermaphrodite design  of the new 0.5mm fine pitch board-to-board connectors Plug, replace the traditional interconnection in the use of plugs and sockets of the way. Fewer product part numbers increase customer demand for a single part  number, saving customers time and cost of verifying new parts for easier  inventory management.

"These  connectors, which operate at higher temperatures and operate stably  under harsh application conditions, are suitable for industrial,  military and automotive applications," said Lily Zhang, product manager,  Data & End Devices, TE Connectivity. "Our connectors feature a contactless contact design terminal  interface that supports PCle G3 high-speed performance applications with  data rates up to 8 Gbps and an LCP with UL 94V-0 flammability rating."

 

The  0.5mm fine-pitch hermaphroditic (FPH) connectors are also dual-contact  terminal designs that provide better plug-in accuracy than the  single-contact terminal designs used on most surface mount (SMT)  connectors and Reliability, four guide rods ensure easy plugging and unplugging, even in the presence of deviations.
