TE's economical line (EP) line-to-board connector family is widely used in power circuit applications. The new Advanced EP II and EP 2.5 product lines based on the mature EP release offer additional benefits. The EP II connector has a nominal voltage of 600VAC at up to 11A, allowing it to be used in more applications. In addition, its dielectric properties make it suitable for mixing signals and power in a single connector. The size of the contact is 22-18 and 20-16. Each contact body has a wire barrel, an insulating crimp barrel and a locking window. Wire crimper jagged to help hold the wire. Contact with or without internal tongue. The internal tongue provides higher insertion force and current rating and is often used with a female housing with a lower number of positions. Contacts without internal tongues have lower insertion force and current rating and are usually used with female housing with higher number of positions.
